Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is,
The Piercing Star!
No human soul but hath a guardian over it.

So let man consider from what he is created.
He is created from a gushing fluid
That issues from between the loins and ribs.
Lo! He verily is able to return him
On the day when hidden thoughts shall be searched out,
Then will he have no might nor any helper
By heaven what giveth the returning rain,
And the earth, which splitteth.
Lo! His is a conclusive word (of Grace),
It is no pleasantry.
Lo! They plot a plot (O Muhammad)
And I plot a plot (O Qutb Muhaiyaddeen)
So give a respite to the disbeliever.
Deal thou gently with them for a while.

Do not covet the possessions of others, and arouse the displeasure of Allahuthallah.

Place your right foot forward and proceed.
The jinn, satan, demons, ghost, khaaf and the malkoon will all be dispelled by the grace of Allah's Rahmath, and you will return victorious from the errant on which you set out.

Allah! There is no God save Him, the Alive, the Eternal.
Neither slumber nor sleep overtaketh Him.
Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens,
And whatsoever is in the earth.
Who is he that intercedeth with Him save by His leave.
He knowth that which is in front of them,
And that which is behind them,
While they encompass nothing of His Knowledge save what He will.
His throne includeth the heavens and the earth,
And He is never weary of preserving them.
He is the Sublime, the Tremendous.

Advice
To
"Your Hazrat Ali" (Ral.)
O Ali, apply surma on your eyes. Apply thrice on your right eye and twice on your left eye. This will brighten your eyes.
O Ali, eat bananas frequently. You will achieve alertness of mind and sharpness of intellect. Phlegm will disappear.
O Ali, it is good to shave your head every week. This will give a look of prosperity to your face.
O Ali, do not teach your females to write, as it will lead to bad conduct.
O Ali, whoever keeps in his house statues and pictures of deities (aggressive evil forces like Kali and Dhurga) and make offerings to them of arrack, toddy and other intoxicants, will find an absence of prosperity in his house. Lakshmikaram (prosperity) will not visit his house.
O Ali, eat the pomegranate fruit It gives courage, strengthens the chest, gives coolness to the body and brings happiness to the mind.
O Ali, do not eat meat, because man’s wisdom must remain as that of a Manueesan (Man, the Divine). It is God’s secret that all lives should obey and submit to Him. A man who eats meat or fish continuously for forty days, not realising His wishes and behaving contrary to it, will begin to think like an Arakkan (lower human). He will not be afraid to commit evil.
He will not fear to commit murder. He will not hesitate to utter lies. Between good and evil, he will forget the good and choose the bad. His heart will be hardened.
O Ali, if a husband places his hand on the fore-head of his newly-wedded bride and recites the following duwa (supplication), she will become a Letchmi (Goddess of Prosperity) in the house.

Allah humma baarakalanaa bi haa thil naasilathi.

O Allah, shower Your Blessings on us
With this supreme performance.
O Ali, on a Monday, you may unite with your wife either in the daytime or at night. A child born out of such a union, will be well versed in the recital of the Quran and become a Hafeez (one who has committed the entire Quran to memory). He will be obedient to his parents and be steadfast in the religion.
O Ali, you may unite with your wife with good intention on a Tuesday. A child born out of such a union will become an Alim (learned man) and be of much beauty.
O Ali, you may unite with your wife on a Thursday night or before Luhr (mid-day prayer time the next day) A child so conceived, will be with thaqfa (fear of God). He will become an Alim (learned person ) or a person of authority and be very prosperous.
O Ali, you may unite with your wife on a Friday, even during the day. A child so conceived, will be faithful to Allahutallah. He will be flawless, pure of birth, of good character, noble and prosperous.
O Ali, avoid uniting with your wife on a Saturday, during the day or the night, as a child of such a union, will meet with a pathetic death as a result of a wall falling on him or die in similar circumstances.
O Ali, you may unite with your wife at night, three naalihai after sunset. (24 minutes is equal to one naalihai; one hour is equal to two and a half naalihai) A child conceived through such a union will be wealthy and become a philanthropist.
O Ali, when you enter a town or a country, recite the following duwas (supplications.)
Bismillahirahmaniraheem
Allah hummainee as alukhairamaa bihaa
In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful
O Lord, I seek your forgiveness for my faults.
Make all your creations achieve greatness.
Bismillahirahmaniraheem
Wa aoothu bika min sharrimaa bih-ha
In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful
I seek refuge from You. Bless me with no discrimination.
O Ali, when you enter a bazaar, be in the remembrance of Allah.
O Ali, Glorious Leader, associate yourself with your brothers, with great men and with those of good character. Do not discard them. Do not accept him who lives on the income earned through interest.
O Ali. do not assault the face of a man, because Allahutallah has created that face with His own hands.
O Ali. embark on a journey on a Monday in the daytime. There is virtue in it. Many nabs (prophets) began their journeys on a Monday.
O Ali, Friday is a good day for a marriage. Many nabis (prophets) got married on a Friday. It is a glorious day for the three worlds.
O Ali, do extensive prayers (worship) in the night. Each word of such prayers amount to the weight of ten words of glorious worship.
O Ali, raise your hands high, and worship everyday. I pray seventy times a day too.
O Ali, treat your guests with kindness and affection like friends. Know that the food you serve them has been provided for them.
O Ali, do not sleep lazily inside your house. Do not keep your head on the threshold of your house in a sleeping posture.
Place your right foot first when you wear your foot ware and when you remove your foot ware, do so first with the left foot.
Do not eat your roti (bread) cutting it with your knife or biting it with your teeth.
Do not spit out water after gargling your mouth in a place where you urinate.
Do not sleep without washing your mouth after eating your roti (bread).
Do not eat food to fill your stomach.
Do not eat in the dark.
Do not inconvenience anyone when you eat in the company of others.
O Ali, keep your women in purdah with their heads and faces covered.
O Ali, keep your dress clean and without dirt. When you do so, you will be victorious over the chastisement of the grave after death.
O Ali, say, “Bismillahirahmaniraheem“ (In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful) and take a little salt before you partake of a meal. Good will come to you and you will be relieved of seventy types of illness.
O Ali, when you wear new clothing, give away the old to the poor.
O Ali, look after your parents in such a way as to make them happy. Allahuthallah’s happiness depends on the happiness of the parents. When you offend your parents, you offend Allahuthallah.
O Ali, do not permit strangers to enter your home. Strangers coming to your home can be dangerous.
O Ali, do not spit or pass urine or sneeze in the direction of the Qibla
("Your Direction of Prayer").
O Ali, show reverence and respect to the Usthaaths (Teachers). Be obedient and submissive to their commands.
O Ali, train your children to be of good conduct from their childhood. Impart to them good advice. When you do so, there is virtue in both the worlds.
All are brothers, born together, as Allah’s Creations.
Keep all this good advice in your mind and perform good deeds.
